Films and motion
Films and motion that explain a product
A product is also how it is explained. I write, direct and finish the films for Olie, design the motion inside every app, and make the demos and tutorials that remove the support call.

Films that sell the feeling
Olie Vault · 64 s
The agents film
A man buried by advisors, then the agents run it. Written, directed and finished in days with generated scenes and the real app, to show investors where Olie Vault is going.

The motion inside the apps
Gold dust for Olie Vault, titanium dust for Olie Orbit. Every animation is timed to the real work on the server, recorded here from the apps themselves.

More than forty how-to films, one task each
Recorded from the real products with example data, narrated and captioned, then arranged in the order a new member needs them: from opening an account to paying a supplier abroad. A two minute narrated demo leads each product. They are made for members in LATAM, so they are in Spanish.
How they are made
A small studio, run like a product team
The same process for every film, so a 64 second film takes days, not months.
- 1
Brief and reference
One sentence on what the film must make someone feel, and the reference films for rhythm and light. References guide the idea, never the look.
- 2
Options before credits
Three directions on one page with stills and a storyboard, chosen before a single generation is paid for.
- 3
One draft per part
Each part generated as a low resolution draft and approved before the next. Most parts land on the first or second take because the prompt is a full shot list.
- 4
One face, every scene
A single reference frame of the lead keeps him the same person across a study, a yacht and a pool.
- 5
The real product, on the glass
The app is never mocked up. A real recording of Olie plays on the phone inside the scene.
- 6
Voice, score and captions
Narration in English or Spanish, one music track that starts when the product appears, and captions burned in for silent feeds.
