Jose Arce is a product lead in Miami who designs, builds and ships financial products, from research to launch. He co-founded Olie, three apps for holding and moving money: Olie Vault to protect what you built, Olie Orbit to pay your friends and Olie Business to pay the world. He led its product, design, partnerships and launches across Latin America.
Before Olie, he spent four years at OKX and Okcoin. He led payments and created the first OKX Simple mode, which a year later became the default for every OKX user worldwide. He then led token recommendation, Rewards for OKX Pay, the Earn redesign, Lira Boost for Turkey and Latin America research, living in Brazil for months.
His first company, Mone, launched B2B instant payments for merchants across Latin America before Pix existed: QR codes, online and in person. He designed every screen of it himself, and Mone was acquired. Earlier, he redesigned the platforms every medical student in the United States passes through at the AAMC.
